Little Hushpuppy couldn’t be more adorable,

But The Bathtub she lives in’s deplorable,

When floods rise it starts to look tragic,

So she dreams up a world full of magic,

Through a child’s eyes even faith is restorable.

Lisa also checked the film out and had this to say:

There’s a real beauty to the decay,

And how does a 6-year-old portray,

Such a depth and a truth,

From a place of such youth?

Give this girl an Oscar, I say!
